In these terms, “Valato”, “we” or “us” means Valato Pty Ltd; “you” means the account holder; “valuer” means an independent accredited professional engaged through the platform; and “report” means a valuation document delivered to you.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter into these terms. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

When you place an order you provide the property details and select a valuation type. Valato matches your order to a suitable accredited valuer and confirms the scope and turnaround before work begins.

Fees are displayed before you confirm an order and are payable in full at the time of ordering through our payment provider.

A report reflects the valuer's professional opinion of market value as at the valuation date, based on the information available. It is prepared for the stated purpose only and should not be relied upon for any other purpose.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to grant the valuer any access reasonably required. Valato is not responsible for delays or inaccuracies caused by incomplete or incorrect information.

All content on the platform, including our models, templates and branding, remains the property of Valato Pty Ltd. Your report is licensed to you for the purpose for which it was commissioned.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform or a report is limited to the fee paid for the relevant order. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may cancel an order for a full refund before a valuer has been assigned. Once work has commenced, refunds are assessed on a pro-rata basis reflecting work completed.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms or use the platform unlawfully. You may close your account at any time; obligations that by their nature survive termination will continue to apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
